Two bedroom / one bathroom apartment located on the first floor of a walk-up building with buzzer / intercom system on 109th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus Avenue. The apartment is very old and bare. It has high ceilings and brown vinyl floors; it faces the street.
You enter the apartment through a long corridor passing by the kitchen and bathroom, until you reach the bedroom.
The room has a double bed, a dresser, a TV and a spacious closet. It has a window which faces another building wall. It is very inexpensive for the area.
Cable TV and internet service is available at a small additional monthly charge.
There is no living room available, but the kitchen is available if needed.
The bathroom is very old but functional.
The neighborhood is residential. One block away you can find the famous cathedral Saint John the Devine and Central Park. On Broadway there are all kind of stores (supermarkets, delis), restaurants, movie theatres. The area is also very convenient for the students of Columbia University; the University is located at 7 blocks away from the apartment only.
Transportation: 1 train on Broadway and 110th Street.
