Quiet and nice two bedroom / one bathroom apartment to share on the 3rd floor of a Walk-up building, located on 9th Street between Avenue C and D. The whole apartment has hard wood floors and white painted walls.
When you enter the apartment you are directly in the kitchen. This eat-in-kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, a freezer, a coffee maker, and toaster. There is also table that seats three. A window, facing one of these street gardens that you can find in the East Village, provides light in the kitchen.
The bathroom is in the corner of the kitchen. This used to be a bathtub in the kitchen situation, typical in the East Village. But walls were built to make a real bathroom equipped with bathtub, sink, toilet and 2 mirrored medicine cabinet.
On your left you access the living room through a hallway. This living area is furnished with a a table. There is a TV with cable, a VCR and, a stereo as well as air-conditioning. This room has two windows.
The furnished bedroom for rent is about 90 square feet. You access the twin size loft bed through a up a ladder. There is a large closet, some bookshelves and a dresser in the room. You can have your own private phone line. There is a TV/VCR connected to cable. There is a small sofa in the bedroom as well. The large window in that room looks out to the 9th street garden.
The East Village is a neighborhood for the young at heart, perfect for students and young professionals. You can find a myriad of ethnic restaurants. Antique shops and boutiques are mixed in with delis and Laundromats as well as off-off Broadway theaters and clubs. The owner has a gallery in the Village and his partner is an airtist.
You have easy access to transportation with the M8 Bus or with the M14 Bus which gets you to all subways on 14th Street in approximately 15 minutes.
