This 2 bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is located uptown at the crossing of Riverside Drive and 157th Street, at the border of Harlem and Washington Heights. The area is convenient for transportation: the 1 train is 2 blocks away. There are a lot of groceries stores and supermarkets in the neighborhood. Across the street is the Riverside Park, which boasts view of the George Washington Bridge, Hudson River and New Jersey. The Academy of Arts and Letters and several museums are also in the area.
The building is a doorman building, with laundry facilities on the first floor and elevator service. It is very clean and well maintained building. The apartment is on the 12th floor.
The apartment is very spacious, 1600 square feet. It has wood floors, and huge bay windows with South and West exposure, beautiful views on the whole city and on Hudson River and New Jersey. Upon entering, you are in a hallway. You enter the living room by an elegant arch. The living room is about 400 square feet, furnished with wood furniture, a dining table with chairs, sofas and armchairs, a commode, a bookcase, a cable TV with VCR and stereo. The room has 3 large picture windows, overlooking the city, exposed south.
The large eat-in-kitchen is on the left side of the hallway, just before the living room. It has a dining table, a fridge, a gas stove, and white cabinets.
Washer and Dryer are available in the apartment.
The bedroom is off of the living room after a short hallway. It is a spacious room of 200 square feet (14,5x14), furnished with a double size bed, shelves, a dresser, a lamp and a small table. It has 2 windows facing South (the city) and West (the Hudson River). During the day, it is shiny and beautiful and the view is gorgeous. There are 2 closets in the room, phone and cable lines. The phone can be private. The private bathroom is on the hallway. It is tiled and has tub, shower, sink, toilet and window.
