Location: New York City, Upper West Side. Columbia University, West 110th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Size: 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with an area of over 800 square meters. The apartment sleeps 2 people Building: On the Upper West Side, a few blocks away from Columbia University and the cathedral of St John the divine, this prewar building overlooks on 110th Street. The apartment is located on the ninth floor, with an elevator. The security is excellent, the front door is kept locked and entry is with an intercom system. There is a coin operated laundry in the basement. It is a very friendly building. Interior: Well lighted and spacious, it has high ceilings, parquet floor and a comfortable kitchen. Overall the place has a bohemian artistic atmosphere. It can sleep a couple. The décor is charming and reflects interest for exotic interior. In the master bedroom, a queen-size bed awaits you in a romantic setting. Bed linens are provided. There are also closets available and a color television with cable channels. The living room, spacious and bright, is the most delightful place to relax. The second bedroom has bunk beds. There is also a second bathroom that has a tub/shower, w/c and sink. The kitchen is spacious and includes a comfortable eating area. It has a dishwasher and is modern. Pots and pans as well as dinnerware for eight persons are included. The bathroom has a shower and bath towels are also provided. NEIGHBORHOOD: This is a neighborhood with many conveniences and easy access to transportation. The 104 bus stops directly in front of the building (this bus goes up and down Broadway). The 1/9 and 2/3 trains' stations are a three minutes walking distance at 96th Street. There is a 24hr grocery store downstairs and a Gourmet Garage at 96th Street. The Metro movie theater is across the street and many restaurants and cafes. The apartment is within walking distance to Columbia University and 2 blocks from Riverside Park along the Hudson River. Others: Public transportation is extremely convenient, providing access to the West Side and the East Side. Emergency: St Luke's Hospital
