This lofty apartment is located in SoHo, one of the most popular districts in the New York City. The loft is located on the second floor of a seven story building in an historic section of the area. The building's front door is kept locked and entry is with a personal key or through an intercom system.
This apartment can be rented in different fashions, either as a bed & breakfast accommodation where the individual rooms are rented to guests while the owners continue to occupy the apartment (they sleep on the futon couch in the living area), or as a sublet, where the entire unit is rented to tenants.
There are two living rooms, one on the north end of the apartment which is open to the galley kitchen and adjacent to the dining area. The second living room is in the middle of the apartment, which also has a lofted sleeping area which the owner uses. For bathrooms, there is both a full bath with a bathtub/shower and a half bath with a w/c only.
The two available rooms for rent are on the south end of the apartment, down a hallway, away from the living rooms and kitchen/dining area (see floorplan). Both rooms are available if needed, if the guests do not wish to share a bed (for an increased nightly rate), but they will not be rented at the same time to separate parties.
The first room for rent, Bedroom 1, is furnished as a small studio and includes a double sized futon for sleeping, chairs and a drafting desk. Four windows with southern exposure allow in natural light, and a ceiling fan or air conditioning cool the space. Note that due to those large windows, the room is bright early in the morning. Note: there is no wireless in the apartment - Broadband internet is accessible from this room only"
The second available room is the Mezzanine Room (Living Room 3 in photos and floorplan). This room includes a full size mattress on a raised mezzanine level with step access. This room also includes a desk with bookshelves. There are interior windows in this room, which look into the Bedroom 1 studio, but can be closed with shades.
Soho, Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Little Italy, and Chinatown are all within a short distance away. Restaurants, movie theaters, and coffeehouses, and other various forms of entertainment are close-by. This neighborhood is the very center of activity in New York. The Apple store is nearby. Soho restaurants are some of the finest in the city.
Please be advised that: THERE ARE 2 CATS THAT STAY IN THE APARTMENT!!!! (The owner will be responsible for feeding and caring for the cats).
Please note: Due to its lively location, the apartment can be a bit noisy a times.
