In the heart of Chelsea, this loft is located on the third floor. There is only one apartment on each floor. This is a walk up building. The front door is kept lock and entry is with your own key or for visitors, through an intercom system.
When you first enter the apartment you are directly into the spacious living room area. The whole area has hardwood floors and is beautifully decorated with colorful seating,2 armchairs and artwork that decorates the walls. There are a variety of colorful chairs and furniture pieces that add a cheerful ambience. When you first enter the apartment to your left there is a sofa and past is another door that makes way into a hallway, which leads to the bathroom, kitchen and the other bedroom. The living room area also has a dining table, a fireplace, which has a brick faced wall that was painted red, and more paintings. There is high-speed internet and cable TV service, as well as an A/C.
Your bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed. There is a TV with cable, a phone jack for a private phone and a dresser for storage.
The roof terrace is where you have chairs to enjoy some alone time as you look into the night sky or to sunbathe in the summer months.
The kitchen comes equipped with a microwave, a large refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, and a toaster oven. The cabinets are red and the walls are painted silver. The bathroom located down the hall from the kitchen going towards the living room is equipped with WC, shower, tub and pedestal sink. The bathroom is painted an aqua.
Neighborhood: On the Eight Avenue, you find the streets lined with local shops, street vendors and restaurants. This is a lively area where you will find many produce stores, laundries, supermarkets, but also theatres (from two blocks away), clubs, and boutiques. You have Fashion Institute of Technology a few blocks away, many trade schools in the neighborhood and for art lovers you have a wide selection of art galleries opening up along 21 Street.
Public Transportation: C & E train at 23rd Street & 8 Ave or 1 train at 28th Street & 7 Ave. Taxis can be hailed anywhere at any time of day or night.
