The apartment is two blocks from the Franklin Avenue subway stop. The trip to downtown Brooklyn is about 5 minutes on the subway and lower Manhattan is less then 15 minutes away. The main shopping corridor in the area is Fulton Street, which is lined with small restaurants, delis and a supermarket. A bit further away is the Fulton Mall, which has a wider variety of national stores.
