Apartment was great, quite small but had everything we needed. The owner left all of her possessions everywhere which was very trusting of her! That wasn't a negative, just a comment really. Overall, a great experience.
May 07 2011We enjoyed our stay in New York City very much and were very pleased with the apartment: Clean, comfortable and very nice. Everything was like promised, the owner helped us by giving us good ideas about the city. So we can't complain at all!!

We think that the apartment is spacious enough for 3 adults (maybe not for 4 adults), and clean (maybe the most important criteria for us).
The owner of the apartment was also very nice and helpful.

Jan 08 2005It was modern and not overdecorated so that we did not feel overwhelmed by someone else's things.
The blow up mattress was easy to use a few times. Place was warm, and quiet, well equipped for cooking, good TV. We enjoyed it.
We liked the funky neighbourhood and felt very safe.
The owner was attentive in emails in advance and greeted me warmly giving me information about transport and shopping. No problems at all.

-With the vacation rental itself : charming and comfortable.

Be sure we'll think of New York Habitat for our next trip to New York.
We stayed in this vacation rental from September 4 until September 9, and enjoyed every minute! It was extremely clean, and very well appointed, in a great location, and even nicer than the website photos suggested. [The apartment owner] was the perfect landlady: helpful, friendly and approachable.
