Two Bedroom townhouse in Williamsburg
|
This townhouse located in Williamsburg is a triplex. It has a large garden in the back and sleeps four comfortably. It is located on a quiet residential street with landmark status.
The entry to the apartment is up about 8 stairs and leads to the first floor living area. The living room is a big open room on the first floor, which includes the large kitchen area. The entire floor is about 500 square feet. The living room section contains a couch and dining table. The dining table easily seats 6. There is a TV, with VCR and DVD as well as a stereo in the room. The TV is connected to cable.
The kitchen area is new and includes stainless steel appliances and a modern wooded cabinet design. The kitchen has an industrial range, a sub-zero refrigerator, and an espresso maker. There are all of the necessary dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
There is also a half bathroom just off the kitchen that includes a W/C and a sink.
The second floor of the apartment is one large room, which serves as the second bedroom as well as an office space. The room has a sofa, which has a full sized pullout mattress. There is also a second TV with a VCR, DVD and stereo. Again the TV is connected to cable. The room has a desk and wireless Internet. The Internet is hooked to an apple system and therefore mainly works with apple systems, though it does work with some pc's.
There is a full bathroom on the second floor, which includes a tub/shower, a W/C and a sink and vanity.
The top floor of the apartment is another bedroom. The room has a queen bed several dressers and a stereo system. The room has a back exposure and get plenty of light but is shaded by window blinds.
The master bath is attached directly to this bedroom and is does quite nicely. The sink is made of copper, there is a large Jacuzzi tub, and the tile is made of terra cotta.
One of the most exciting parts of the apartment is the large backyard, which includes an area shaded by a canapé with a table underneath, several plantings and a BBQ grill.
The neighborhood of Williamsburg has rapidly become a trendy area (some are calling it the new SOHO). There are many restaurants of multinational cuisines scattered through the neighborhood, and there are interesting shops including record stores, and vintage clothing places.
