This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located in the Yorkville neighborhood in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. The apartment is on the 20th floor of a high-rise building with elevators. There is a full time doorman and laundry facilities in the building. The living room is classically furnished with a sofa, armoire and dining table that can seat up to six. In the kitchen, you will find all the basic amenities as well as a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. Extra small conveniences such as an iron, ironing board and hair dryer are also available. Air conditioning cools the apartment in the summer.
The bedroom and the living room of this accommodation both have windows exposed to the west, offering a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline from 20 stories up.
This furnished rental is located on York Avenue in Yorkville, a neighborhood on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Restaurants, cafes, pharmacies and grocery stores can all be found around on 1st and 2nd Avenue, beginning just a block from this apartment. The East River is only one block west, where you can relax in the Carl Schurz Park. The closest subway station is the 4/5/6 train at 86th and Lexington Avenue. Additionally, there is a cross-town bus, which runs in front of the apartment and will connect you to the museums on both sides of Central Park, including the Guggenheim and Neue Galerie. Bus #M86 is right next to the apartment and takes you directly to 86th and Lexington where the subway station is.

My husband and I really enjoyed the apartment. It was our first time in New York City and the location, view, transportation, restaurants, staff and neighbors at the apartment were wonderful. The apartment is in a great location. It's away from the crowded and hectic tourist areas of Manhattan, but it was very easy to access the different areas by bus (which runs about every 5 minutes) which takes you to the various subways. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in NYC. The location of the apartment and the building itself are excellent (high level of security and service). Unfortunately the apartment itself was not very clean, but this did not ruin our stay. I would though recommend contacting the owner and suggesting that on top of leaving the clean sheets and towels at her guests disposal, as she most kindly did, she might also make sure that the kitchen and bathroom are cleaned through. |
