One-bedroom apartment in Jackson Heights, Queens
This one bedroom apartment is located in the Jackson Heights section of Queens in New York. The neighborhood includes many historic building and a diverse population. There are many different cuisines that can be found on the local streets from Brazilian to Afghani. The 7 train is close to the apartment at 82nd street and the E,F,V,R,G trains can be accessed one station away.

The apartment is located in a prewar building. The access is via buzzer/intercom system. There is an elevator providing access to the apartment.

The living room is furnished with a sofa, which converts to a double sized bed, a dining table for four people and a TV cabinet with TV and extra shelves. The room has wood floors and two windows one of which has an air conditioner.

The bedroom is equipped with two twin beds that can be combined to make a king sized bed. There are matching night tables. The room also has wood floors and two windows one of which has an air conditioner.

The kitchen is separate and equipped with all of the basics. The appliances, countertop and cabinets are new (2005) and the basic pots, pans, utensils and dishes are provided.

The bathroom is standard and includes a sink with vanity and medicine cabinet, a tub/shower and a w/c.

Here are our comments regarding the apartment we rented in May in Queens, New York! We'd be pleased to share our feeling with your (future) customers! The vacation rental we rented was terrific! Located in Queens, it had all the needed accommodation for a couple and a child aged 2. It was half an hour from Manhattan using the metro but it was worth it. It was a quiet neighborhood which allowed good rest after our walks in busy downtown. New York Habitat demonstrated high level of professionalism. Everything was exactly as announced! No bad surprise. The owner [of the vacation rental] we met to get the key was a very welcoming lady who not only made us feeling home but was resourceful of tips and advice to get along with new habits during our stay. Thank you New York Habitat. We'll surely go back to New York and we'll surely rent a NY Habitat apartment!

I want to thank YOU for the great service! We loved our appartment. It was big, very comfortable, clean bed-linen and a lot of fresh towels. The only thing we undervalued was the distance from Queens to Manhattan - so we travelled a lot (but we saw New York not like tourist, we felt like natives). [The owner] was very friendly and co-operative. If the length of your stay is over a week, NY Habitat is the best possibility to live in this city!!! Kind regards,
