This one bedroom loft style vacation rental is located on the 2nd floor of an elevator building in West Village. The building is equipped with a common ground floor garden and a roof top for the residents and laundry room in the basement.
The apartment has a lot of open space and consists of a large living area and annexed office space which are furnished with table with chairs, sofas, armchairs, decorative fireplace, 1 trundle bed (1 single + 1 pull-out single), a double size futon bed, and a double size pull out sofe (office area).
The living room has large windows and a sliding glass door that opens up into a terrace full of plants.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary items to cook and it has a table with chairs. Right outside the kitchen there is a tiled counter with chairs for additional dining space.
Bathroom 1 is equipped with bathtub with shower, toilet and sink. Towels are provided.
The bedroom and the 2nd bathroom are not available to the guests. They will be locked and the guests will sleep in the living room and office areas.
The West Village is a residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets and historical brownstones and townhouses. It is also very much alive with restaurants, bars, movie theaters, shops and also supermarkets and everything you need. New York University buildings are located all around this area and Washington Square Park.
This apartment is near the Christopher Street station on the 1-9 line at Sheridan Square.

Chuck was a very friendly host; he met us at the apartment and showed us around as well as telling us some good local restaurants etc. In addition he communicated with us well both prior to our stay and throughout our stay.We really liked the apartment decor and although a little cluttered it had a great bohemian feel; it was spacious and our family of four fitted in well.The apartment block was fab with a lovely roof garden with great views of The Empire State Building and close to great shops, restaurants and the St Christopher subway; a famtastic location. It was very quiet,the shower was lovely and the internet access was useful.We would definitely return if we visited New York again. |
