One bedroom apartment to rent on the Upper West Side
|
With an area of approximately 1000 square feet, this apartment contains one bedroom and a bathroom. Located on Central Park West on the Upper West Side, this antique apartment accommodates two people.
On the tenth floor of a postwar elevator building, the apartment faces South with a view of the garden and parking area below, and of course Central Park. The building has a full-time doorman and there are laundry facilities in the basement.
Ceramic tiles are found throughout this air-conditioned apartment, while the furnishings are contemporary in style, the living room contains two large size sofas and a dining table with chairs. The green painted walls are decorated with many famous paintings. A television with VCR and a stereo provide entertainment. There is also a telephone available for local calls. Next to the dining area there is also a desk and cabinet to use as an office area if needed. The separate marble kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, a four-ring cooker, and a microwave oven. All cooking utensils are available to use.
The air-conditioned bedroom has a king-size bed, which has been separated into two singles. Ample closet space is available in here as well as in the corridor between the living and sleeping area. There is also a television, cable, VCR, and telephone for local calls. One large window lights up the bedroom. There is also a view of the park. Right next to this room lies the marble bathroom with a bathtub and two showers (one hand, one fixed), a washbasin, and a toilet. Towels are sheets are both supplied.
Just across the street lies Central Park, offering locals and visitors alike with a space to relax, or, for the more actively inclined, to participate in a wide range of sports. Public transportation is very easy to find: the B,C train can be taken from 96th Street on Central Park, taxis can be hailed anywhere and at anytime.
