Location: Upper West Side, on 81st Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenue. Close to the 1 train at 79th Street and the B and C trains at 81st Street.
Building: Brownstone built in 1894. Has laundry facilities.
Interior: Charming 500 sq. ft. studio with separate sleeping loft.
Located on the first floor of a brownstone, this furnished studio has the back, spiral staircase lead to the queen-size sleeping loft, it also has a comfortable queen size sofa bed, high ceilings, two large windows facing the street, a/c, TV with cable, a desk, a stereo, and a beautiful decorative fireplace. There is a DVD player connected to the TV, which is High Definition and receives HD from the satellite provider. The kitchen is open to the living room area and has dishwasher, microwave, fridge, two burner gas stove, a coffee maker a toaster, and plenty of pots and pans, dishes tableware and glassware. The bathroom has a shower/tub. Sheets and towels are provided.
In the heart of New York City's lively Upper West Side--one of the most prized residential areas in the city--which boasts a rich variety of restaurants, outdoor cafes, internationally famous food emporiums, numerous fine clothing stores and boutiques as well as two multiplex cinemas. In walking distance of many major New York cultural institutions, including, the American Museum of Natural History and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The Metropolitan Museum is just across Central Park (a nice 10 minute walk). A few steps away from Central Park which consists of several hundred acres of parklands, lakes, trees, and open meadows for sports.
