Loft apartment in Chelsea with view of Empire State Building
This fully furnished 3000 square foot loft is located in Chelsea, a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. The apartment is located on the 12th floor of a 'locked elevator' building. Residents enter the building using their own key and visitors gain access through an intercom system. For your convenience, there is a laundry washer and dryer in the apartment.

This loft features a living room with open kitchen, sleeping alcove with private bathroom, and a separate studio space that can be used as a second bedroom. There is also second bathroom and a laundry room. The main living room is furnished with three comfortable sofas and a dining room table that seats six. There are six windows with northern exposure and track lighting to keep the room well lit both during the day and at night.

The sleeping alcove (labeled Living Room 2 in the photos and floor plan) is furnished with a queen size bed and is illuminated by a large skylight. Attached is a full private bathroom that includes a personal vanity area and a skylight.

At the south end of the apartment, there is a large studio space (Living Room 3), which could be used as a second bedroom. This is furnished with a queen size Murphy bed (a bed that can fold into the wall during the day to add extra space) and a queen size sofa bed in addition to shelves lined with books and a variety of other artists' furnishings. Five large windows allow in light from the south.

This loft is found on West 27th Street, in Chelsea, a neighborhood in western Manhattan next to the Garment District. Relax in Madison Square Park, where you can view the famous Flatiron Building and enjoy a hamburger from the Shake Shack, located 2 blocks away. Major stores line the streets near Madison Square Garden, beginning 4 blocks north on 31st Street, and restaurants and cafes can be found everywhere. Whole Foods Market on 24th Street allows you to grocery shop for cooking at home (3 blocks away).

Public transportation is convenient to this vacation rental: the 1 subway line is less than 2 blocks west, and the R/W station is 2 blocks east. Penn Station is about 5 blocks away, and provides access to all major train lines.
