Duplex, three-bedroom apartment in the southern part of the Denfert area
|
Beware that it is possible to rent the whole apartment, or only the first bedroom with a shared access to the kitchen and the bathroom.
Neighborhood:
In 10 minutes walking distance is the Montparnasse area with its train station -- linking Paris to Brittany and to other western areas -- and its large number of shops, restaurants, theaters, and cinemas. It has all the essentials right in the neighborhood -- supermarkets, open-air markets, and cafes.
Premises:
This 90mē (approx. 965 sq. ft.) duplex apartment, south/north exposed, is located on the fifth French floor of a building from the beginning of the 20th century with a nice hall, a concierge, a security code, and an elevator. It is situated on a busy little street between Avenue du Maine and Avenue du General Leclerc.
Upon entering the apartment, there is a small hall. Right after the hall is the 25mē (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room furnished with a sofa and Louis XV armchairs, an oval Louis Philippe dining table, a little dresser, bookshelves, a TV, and a Hi-Fi stereo. There is a piano (Heraud), a white marble fireplace (non-working) topped by a large golden framed mirror, paintings, and French doors with white curtains that provide access to small balconies on the street side.
Also on the first level is the separate kitchen equipped with four gas burners, a traditional oven, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, and a window. All utensils are provided.
Next to the kitchen is a 7mē (approx. 75 sq. ft.) first bedroom, which is furnished with a single-size bed, a desk and shelves. It has a double-glazed window overlooking a courtyard with a northern exposure.
A staircase, accessible from the entrance hall, leads to the second level. On this floor is a 13mē (approx. 135 sq. ft.) second bedroom with white walls, a wood floor, a double bed, bookshelves, a table/desk, a decorative fireplace, paintings, and a window on the street side (southern exposed).
A 9mē (approx. 95 sq. ft.) third bedroom has white walls, a wooden floor, a double bed, a TV, paintings, and a window on the street side.
There is also, on the same floor, a rose marble bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a washbasin and a window. Next to this bathroom, there is a second separate toilet with a washing machine.
The nearest metro station is Mouton Duvernet (line 6).
Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
