This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue Malar between Rue de l'Université and Rue Saint Dominique.
It is located in one of the most selected area of Paris. It is a few steps away from the Invalides area, where everything is on a monumental scale. Starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire, the Parc du Champs de Mars stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveaux style, as well as numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition in 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris. There are all sorts of shops in the neighborhood, including the colorful and exclusive street market on Rue Cler and other essential services Rue St Dominique.
Premises:
This 31m˛ (approx 334 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the third and top floor of a 19th century walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor, which leads a courtyard. Then a gate opens into the staircase.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen. The bedroom and the bathroom are accessible by the living room.
The 15m˛ (approx 170 sq ft) living room has a double glazed window with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table and four chairs, a console surmounted by a combo TV, DVD player and a stereo.
The kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar and two stools. It is equipped with two vitro-ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo grill/microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a washing machine.
The 10m˛ (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a double glazed window with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, a desk and a chair, a large built in closet and some bookshelves.
The bathroom has a window, a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Invalides (line 8,13).
