One bedroom apartment close to the Canal Saint Martin
|
Large Boulevard situated close to the charming Canal Saint Martin, the apartment is placed between Rue du Faubourg Saint Martin and Rue Lucien Sampaix
Decorated in a youthful style, very calm, and bright this compact one-bedroom' apartment measures 25m2 facing East and West. Located on the sixth floor of a well-maintained building from the beginning of the century having an elevator up to the 5th floor, a security system and a concierge its furniture is modern. Recently refurbished it has pale yellow walls and a floor covered with large off-white tiles.
The living room has a corner mattress with cushions at ground level serving as a sofa, a rectangular marble topped dining table with wrought iron legs and two chairs, a director's chair, a nice large yellow lamp, modern paintings, and a window with a little curtain.
Open to the 10m2 living room is the functional kitchen fitted out with two electric burners and a microwave settled on the white worktop, a small fridge, a dishwasher, and cupboards containing the basic utensils.
To the left side the 10m2 bedroom has one inclined wall with a fanlight protected by a little transparent curtain from which the top of the Eiffel Tower is visible. It contains a double futon at ground level, a design table wooden topped with wrought iron legs and a chair, a TV and a recessed space where is a washing-drying machine.
Close to the main door the bathroom consists on a tiled shower cabin protected by plastic curtain, a washbasin, and toilet.
In the vicinity of the agreeable Canal Saint Martin surrounded by trees and dotted with many little bridges, becoming one of Parisians' favorite areas. Actually many of its streets are calm and the neighborhood offers number of small squares and all the necessary services. In a very short distance by metro are the Seine River and the Louvre Museum, and a few more minutes are necessary to get to the other most important points of interest. Nearby, mostly close to Place de la République a large option of restaurants, cafés, and diverse sorts of shops are found.
The closest metro stations are Jacques Bonsergent (line 5) and République (lines 3, 5, 8, 9, 11). It is also not far from Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord Railway stations.
