One-bedroom apartment between the Invalides area and the famous Quai d'Orsay

Neighborhood:
Neighboring the Esplanade des Invalides, this strictly residential street is situated between Quai d'Orsay and rue de l'Université. One of the most honored French monuments, the Hotel Royal des Invalides, built under King Louis XIV, is a masterpiece of 17th century architecture, housing the Army Museum, the Contemporary History Museum, the Libération Association Museum, and the Plans et Relieves Museum. It is also close to the majestic Eiffel Tower, facing the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, to the Seine River, and to Trocadero Place. The neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and convenience shops and a number of select restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 42m˛ (approx. 480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system, which opens into a corridor leading to a nice paved courtyard. From this courtyard a staircase goes up to a glass door protected by an intercom.
The 16m˛ (approx. 150 sq. ft.) living room has two windows that overlook the street with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a sofa, a coffee table, an antique style desk and two armchairs. There is also a TV, a built-in closet and a decorative fireplace.
The 7m˛ (approx. 75 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window opening onto the courtyard with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a single-size bed, a chair and a built-in closet. This room has access to the tiled bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
The entrance door opens into a dining room, which is furnished with a table and a chest of drawers. There is also a window facing the courtyard.
From there, a double door opens into the kitchen, which is equipped with four electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave oven, a refrigerator/freezer and a washing machine.
The nearest metro station is Invalides (line 8 and 13, RER C).
Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
