Studio apartment near Parc Montsouris

This furnished apartment is just a few minutes walk from the International University campus of Paris and Montsouris Park. The Cite Universitaire, sprawling just south of Montsouris Park on the Left Bank, is an international city in miniature for more than 5,000 foreign students. The apartment is next to the English style Parc Montsouris, the second largest park in central Paris and home to the municipal meteorological weather station. Not far from Montparnasse, a district renowned for its mix of art and high living, this residential area is the home of Paris' tallest office tower, Tour Montparnasse. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 23m² (approx. 245 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the seventh floor of a 1950s building. A coded system and a concierge protect the main entrance gate. This gate opens into a hall leading to an old-fashioned elevator, which goes to the sixth floor; the apartment is one floor up and accessed from a staircase.
The entrance door opens into a hall leading to the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen and the separate toilette.
The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and a double-glazed window with exterior shutters overlooking the street and offering a clear view of Paris. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, shelves, a chest of drawers, a built-in closet with mirrored doors, a desk and a folding dining table with chairs. It is equipped with a phone, a stereo, Internet access via DSL (a wireless connection) and cable TV with a universal DVD player.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four vitro ceramic burners (one of them don't work), a combo grill/microwave oven, a small refrigerator, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle. There are also cabinets, a built-in closet and a folding table with two stools.
The tiled bathroom contains a small bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a clothes dryer rack and a hairdryer.
The separate toilette has a window.
The apartment is equipped with a vacuum, a fan, an iron and an ironing board.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building. There is also extra electric heat.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Glacière (line 6), Cité Universitaire (RER C) and Alésia (line 4). There are also some bus stations nearby.
