This furnished apartment is situated on Rue des Blancs Manteaux between Rue du Temple and Rue des Archives. A highly popular area, the Marais is one of the few neighborhoods in Paris to have preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. This accommodation is close to the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center (also known as Beaubourg), the vast Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and beautiful restaurants and cafes. A little further, the royal Place des Vosges, a paragon of Henri IV architectural style and a former residence of many historic personalities, has several exquisite museums to offer. Most of the Paris points of interest, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, City Hall, and the Seine river and its enchanting islands, are in a fair walking distance of this accommodation.
Premises:
This 25m² (approx. 269 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the third floor of a 17th-century walk-up building. The entrance gate with a coded security system opens into a corridor leading to the stairway.
The entrance door opens into a small corridor that allows access to the main room and the open kitchen, the separate bathroom, and a separate toilet cabin.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has two windows with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed and a double-size futon, a chest of drawers, a wall-mounted flatscreen television, a DVD-player, and a stereo.
The open kitchen has two vitroceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combination grill/microwave, a coffee-maker, a kettle, and a refrigerator. There is also a washing machine.
The separate bathroom has a window, a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, and a toweldryer.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Hotel de Ville (line 1,11).
