This furnished studio apartment is located on a small place « Place Gustave Toudouze » between Rue Henri Monnier and Rue Clauzel.
Montmartre is a 130-meter high knoll that was the artistic center of the greatest pictorial movement of the 19th and 20th centuries (Impressionism, Cubism, Fauvism, Futurism, and Surrealism) in Paris. Renowned artists, from Berlioz to Picasso, lived and worked in this district known for its unconventional lifestyle and kept alive by a number of its current residents. From the Sacred Heart Basilica esplanade there is a panoramic view of Paris, and the charming Place du Tertre is a must-see. Plenty of conveniences are near this accommodation, notably the fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
Premises:
This 18m˛ (approx. 195 sq.ft.) studio is located on the first floor of a 19th century walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall with mailboxes and the apartment to the left.
The 14m˛ main room has a tiled floor and a window, with curtains and shutters, which overlooks the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, a built in closet, a bar with 2 stools and shelves.
The open kitchen is equipped with 2 electric burners topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker.
The tiled bathroom has a washbasin, a shower, a toilet and a large built-in closet.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Saint George »(line 12).
