Duplex studio apartment in the Marais
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue de Braque between Rue Rambuteau and Rue des Archives. An area in demand, the Marais is one of the neighborhoods in Paris that has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. In the vicinity of this street are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, the wide Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian Rue Rambuteau, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes. A little further is the royal Place des Vosges, a must-see and the former residence of many historic personalities; it also has several precious museums. Most of the important points of interest such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine -- with its enchanting islands -- are in fair walking distance of this accommodation.
Premises:
This 38m2 (approx 409 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor, which leads to a second gate. Then this second gate opens into a hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen.
The 15 m2 (approx 161 sq ft) living room has a window with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a dining table and chairs, a phone, a TV, a VCR, a closet and some shelves.
The open kitchen has a window and is equipped with two induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a combo washing machine/dryer. There is a little bar with chairs.
The first 10 m2 (approx 107 sq ft) mezzanine bedroom is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, a built in closet, some shelves, a desk and a chair, as well as a laptop.
The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
