Mostly residential this genuine Parisian neighborhood is located in a few metro stations' distance to the wide Place de la Republique and to the legendary Place de la Bastille, where you can find many entertainment options such as the Opera House, many cinemas, gorgeous restaurants and nice pubs. It is also close to the Père Lachaise cemetery where a number of celebrities were buried such as the composer Chopin, the writers Moliere and Oscar Wilde, and the lead singer of The Doors, Jim Morrison.
