Spacious studio in the Bastille area
|
Located between rue de la Roquette and rue de Charonne, this 27m2 studio apartment is next to the place de la Bastille and its numerous cafes, restaurants, and other services.
The heart of this area is the historic Place de la Bastille and its new Opéra House considered as one of the best Operas in the world, inaugurated at the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. After a ten minute walk is Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, expensive antique shops and also for the famous French novelist Victor Hugo's residence at 6, Place des Vosges from 1832 to 1848. It is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels (especially Les Misérables). In the neighborhood there are number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets such as the one on Place d'Aligre, to be visited, and a second one on Rue Richard Lenoir. All other sorts of services are easily found in the whole neighborhood.
This apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 19th century walk-up building .The main entrance gate is protected by a security system.
The apartment is West oriented. There is wooden floor everywhere except in the kitchen and the bathroom that are tiled. There are two windows with Venetian stores inside and outside the window.
The studio is decorated with a sofa bed (140 cm wide) a dining table with two chairs, a TV with a DVD player, 3 small coffee tables, two windows, a desk with a chair and a wardrobe.
High speed internet access is available.
The eat-in kitchen has a collapsible table with two tools, a microwave, two electric burners, a fridge, a coffee maker and a toaster. The washer/dryer combo is also in the kitchen. It has a skylight giving light in the kitchen.
The adjoining bathroom has a shower cabin with a wall mounted showerhead and a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Bastille (lines 1,5,8).
