One bedroom apartment in the Marais
|
Located between Bd. Beaumarchais and Place des Vosges,
In a few minutes walking distance to the symbol of the French Republic, the Bastille Place, the harmonious Place des Vosges, originally named the Place Royale, was built between 1605 and 1612 under Henry IV, the king. Here lived many historical personalities such as the world famous novelist, Victor Hugo, at number 6 - now a museum - Maison de Victor Hugo. Many museums, art galleries, selected restaurants, and pleasant cafes in this area provide unique entertainment moments. All other important points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, the Champs Elysées, and the Opera Garnier, are in a short distance by metro.
Northeast exposed and facing the street this charming 30m2 1 bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor of an 18th century walk-up building having a security system. White walls enhance the ceiling genuine exposed beams, the genuine stones' wall, and the nice parquet floor, the whole enlighten by French windows garnished with curtains, all overlooking the street.
Light furnished, to the left side of the 15m2 living room there is a single sofa bed (120cm), an antique closet, and a rectangular wooden dining table. To the right side a TV, VCR and DVD, a stereo and a small window ventilates the kitchen open space. There are two windows, one of them opening to a small balcony.
Wooden sliding doors decorated with stained glass panels open to the bedroom, fitted out with a 140cm wide double bed which head is placed against a genuine stone's wall, and a closet.
Open to the living room the kitchen space is equipped with two vitro ceramic burners, an oven, a small fridge, a combo washing-drying machine, a wooden worktop, and utensils put away in the cupboards above and shelves below the stainless steel sink.
Across the bedroom, to the right side, the nice bathroom encloses a quite wide shower cabin with glass sliding doors, a washbasin with a mirror above, and toilet.
The bathroom is also accessible from the living room.
The nearest metro stations are Bastille (line 1, 5, and 8), and Chemin Vert (line 8).
