Neighborhood:
Close to the wide Place de la Nation, this mostly residential street is located a few metro stations away from the legendary Place de la Bastille, providing many different entertainment options such as the new Opera House, cinemas, gorgeous restaurants and pubs, plus trendy and other diverse stores. All conveniences such as markets, supermarkets, drugstores, and other shops are easily found in the neighborhood.
Premises:
Peaceful two-story 80m2 duplex house featuring an east exposed picture window screened by rolling blinds, looking out on an alley garden. Built in the late 19th century, it is provided with a security system. It has a yellow painted floor and living room 3,25m high ceiling.
Pleasant colors decorate the 36m2 living room. It is fitted out with a 120cm wide single sofa bed, a rectangular dining table and six chairs, a decorative fireplace, a desk, a TV, a DVD player, a stereo, a telephone, an area carpet, and ceiling design spots.
A design wooden ladder (with handrails now - wich doesn't appear on the picture) climbs to the 5m2 mezzanine separated by a sliding wooden door, including a 120cm wide single mattress straight on the floor, a lamp, a desk, and a window protected by fabric rolling blinds.
To the left side the kitchen is open to the living room, equipped with one electric and three gas burners (gas bottle), an electric oven, a microwave oven, a fridge, a worktop, a cabinet, a white ceramic sink, cupboards and drawers containing the utensils, and a washing machine.
Also isolate from the living room by a sliding door, at the bottom of the living room are the bedrooms and bathroom.
Guests' 5m2 bedroom has ceiling beams, two 0,90cm wide single mattresses straight on the floor, bed head wall shelves, night table, and lamp, a chest of drawers, and a recessed closet.
A flight of wooden stairs climbs to the first floor where a small landing shows cabinets. Facing the stairs is the bathroom, and to the right side is the 13m2 master bedroom. This last one is slightly mansard roofed, fitted out with a 140cm wide double mattress straight on the floor, wall lamps and paintings, ceiling beams, and a skylight.
In the narrow bathroom the ceiling is low - 1.80m high in the tiled shower cabin, which is screened by a synthetic curtain (watch doorway width - 0,52cm wide), and 2.10m high outside it. There also is a white ceramic washbasin, and toilet.
The closest metro stations are Nation (line 1 & 6 and RER A) and Avron (line 2).
