Two bedroom apartment close to the Champs Elysees

Small and very calm street situated between rue Cardinet and rue Mederic. In a short walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe, to the Champs Elysées Avenue, and to the prettiest of the Parisian parks, the Park de Monceau, surrounded by alluring gates and featuring winning gardens and paths, sculptures of renowned personalities, and small polls, this refined area is also close to two of the traditional most known open-air markets - rue Poncelet, and rue de Levis with number of colourful and quality fruit and vegetable stallholders, as well as fashion shops, nice restaurants and cafes with or without pavement areas. In this district lived the famous French poet Verlaine from 1851 to 1865 at 10, rue Nollet, and the peaceful little house at 28, rue Lemercier was the residence of the famous composer Jacques Brel. Slightly mansard roofed this charming 60m2 duplex apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a 19th century walk up building equipped with a security system. It shows a 5m2 balcony on the courtyard side, genuine stonewalls, other white painted walls, beams adorning the 2,80m high ceiling, and a neat wooden floor. It has bedding for one couple and two singles. West and east exposed, the L-shaped 30m2 living room is brightened by two windows garnished with white curtains, facing the street and the courtyard, in addition to one skylight. Straight after the main door, to the right side is the American kitchen, and to the left side there are two cabinets. Following, there is a country style rectangular dining table and four matching chairs (two spare chairs are available), a cabinet, and a cosy area including a snug Bordeaux colored sofa and two pleasant armchairs, all facing a square coffee table, a cable TV with international channels (home cinema), a DVD and VCR players, a stereo, and a telephone. Furthermore there are wall paintings, diverse lamps, and a houseplant. Well equipped, the American kitchen features a wooden countertop and two upholstered stools, as well as a white worktop. There are four vitro ceramic induction burners, a traditional electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a combo fridge-freezer, an electric coffee maker, a toaster, an oval white ceramic sink, number of cupboards above and below the worktop containing the china and all other necessary utensils. A flight of well spaced out stairs climb to the two bedrooms, both facing the calm street, and to the bathroom. Also having a stonewall, the 13m2 master bedroom is fitted out with a 140cm wide double bed, a cable TV with basic channels and a lamp set down on recessed wall-to-wall shelves, a bedside chest and lamp, a closet, an available computer (with ADSL Internet connection) and a nice lamp standing on a writing desk, a telephone, wall paintings, a window ornate with curtains, and a skylight with electric shutters. Adjacent, the 10m2 guests' bedroom has blue painted walls, including 0,90cm wide bunk beds, a closet, a chest of drawers, wall bookshelves, and a window garnished with curtains. Facing the guests' bedroom the bathroom is decorated with tasteful white tiles, enclosing a tiled shower cabin screened by a synthetic curtain, a cabinet below the white ceramic washbasin, a washing machine, toilet, and two skylights. The closest metro stations are Coucelles (line 2) Wagram (line 3), Ternes (line 2), and Monceau (line 2).
