Studio close to Les Halles
In the heart of Paris, little pedestrian street situated between Boulevard de Sebastopol and rue Pierre Lescot.

Excellent situation very close to main points of interest such as the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center and City hall, as wall as to renowned monuments such as the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral, this street neighbors the authentic live village of residential and commercial streets known as Quartier Montorgueil, in its most part pedestrian, as retractable boundary marks allow almost only the residents to go in with their autos. Place of gourmets' choice, renowned for the quality from father to son victuals' shops, and also for the fact that for long time it has been the domain of fashion designers. Paved with small stones, rue Montorgueil is the heart of this area, enclosing remarkable restaurants, and having all along number of pleasant cafes. A Monoprix opened just two steps from the apartment.

Cosy 33m2 (approx 355 sq ft) studio featuring two small terraces decorated with evergreens and flowers, the largest one also has a wooden garden table and four matching chairs, as well as a sunshade, both overlooking pedestrian streets. Besides, genuine beams adorn the 2.04m high ceiling of this bright and calm apartment located on the 5th floor of an 18th century walk up building equipped with an intercom. It has white painted walls and a neat parquet floor. It is perfect for one couple.

East and west exposed the 30m2 (Approx 322 sq ft) living room has two French windows, one glass door and one window opening to the two terraces. It is fitted out with an extensible semi-circular dining table with three matching armchairs, an antique bench, a mirror doors closet, bookshelves, 140cm wide double bed, a cable TV, a stereo, a telephone, houseplants and the American kitchen.
Three fine wrought iron and leather-bottomed chairs are placed ahead the countertop. Otherwise, the American kitchen showing choice wooden countertop and cupboards is equipped with four vitro ceramic burners, a traditional electric oven, a dishwasher, a casing combo fridge-freezer, an electric coffee maker, a toaster, and a white ceramic sink. There also are all tableware and kitchen utensils. A combo washing-drying machine is available.

Precious antique double wooden doors open to the Moroccan terracotta decorated bathroom, which encloses a bathtub with detachable showerhead, a large mirror and built in spotlights above and cabinets below the white ceramic washbasin, and toilet.

Wireless internet access is available

The closest metro stations are Etienne Marcel (line 4) and Chatellet - Les Halles (lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14 and RER B, C and D).

We loved this appartment. It was a perfect little nest for 2.
We loved this appartment. It was a perfect little nest for 2. Much cheaper and 10 times more charm than a middle of the road hotel. We made a fantastic choice in our eyes to go with [a vacation rental] rather than a hotel room. It was 15 min walk from The Louvre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station and 50mtrs walk from a small supermarket which was just perfect for our needs. Our landlord and his wife were incredibly helpful, supplying us not only with heaps of local information but also a lovely little package of a bottle of wine, orange juice, milk and coffee to start us off. We would stay at this appartment time and again.

Review of PA 2590- This vacation rental was perfect for our weeklong stay. We enjoyed eating on the balcony
Review of PA 2590- This vacation rental was perfect for our weeklong stay. We enjoyed eating on the balcony and watching the world go by, and the location meant that great food stores were around the corner and all major sites were within walking distance. When we chose to go far afield, the central location meant every district could be reached quickly. The Host was also lovely, the apartment well stocked and clean. It is in a slightly "gritty" area, but we felt quite safe even coming home at Midnight. We will stay here again.

The location could not be better - central Paris with subways very nearby. The terrace was amazing.
The apartment was perfect. We selected that vacation rental based on the location and terrace. The location could not be better - central Paris with subways very nearby. The terrace was amazing. Private, comfortable, with beautiful views of the neighborhood. The apartment itself was very charming and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a huge closet where we were able to hang our clothes and keep our suitcases. The owner was very nice and helpful providing a list of nearby restaurants and was available by phone or email to ask questions during our stay. We were very pleased with the apartment.

I had a wonderful stay in [the] Paris [apartment], the landlord was so lovely [...] He had organized a list of his 'favorites' in the area which was extremely helpful. He even got a ticket for me to the ballet, knowing that I had been a dancer! A most enjoyable evening [...] I have forwarded your website to all my friends as the service was superb, please thank [my Agent] for her hard work in locating the perfect vacation rental for me. I will definitely use the service again. Thanks NY Habitat!!! Best holiday in years.

It was a one of the nicest apartments that I've stayed at in Paris, and certainly the most enchanting.
It was a one of the nicest apartments that I've stayed at in Paris, and certainly the most enchanting. The two small terraces were filled with flowering plants and orchids inside. The owner really pays attention to detail.
