This studio apartment is in the Saint Michel area, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. Found on the quaii de la Tournelle, you can enjoy exquisite views that abound while strolling about this area, including that of the famous Notre Dame cathedral and boats floating the river Seine. The building is just 2 blocks from the rue de Bièvre, where President Mittérand use to live, and is close to the small pedestrians streets of the Latin Quarter - Panthéon area. In addition to the number of restaurants, nice pubs, and cafes, downhill is the well-known Maubert open-air market and, a little farther, the Mouffetard open-air market, with fresh French bread and pastries, choice fruits, vegetables, cheese, and seafood. |

[...] Our stay in Paris was wonderful. The apartment was tiny (next time we might opt for a one bedroom) but it was perfect for us. Well located is an understatement-- we had zero view from the apartment itself, but right outside the front door we could have thrown a rock into the Seine. We were right across from the Ile St. Louis and we could hear the bells at Notre Dame inside the apartment.

Nov 04 2005Kudos to NYHabitat! Our apartment was exactly as you represented it online and there were nothing but pleasant surprises once we arrived. I will definitely be using your services again for future trips. Danielle Huyn in your office was particularly helpful when we were unable to reach our landlord prior to our trip. She tracked him down in a mere matter of hours and got the confirmations from him we needed.
Jun 10 2005[The accommodation owner] was such a great guy and the apartment was just what it said it would be. A little small but in a great location. The only thing that I would suggest is to find a better way to do business than wire transfers. They can be quite costly for the renter in my case about Euros 78.
May 15 2005Like I said though other than that the apartment was in a great location and I loved it for the week we were there.
The apartment was just what I expected, good location, extremely clean, the owner was right on time with the keys and was so gracious and helpful, I would most definitely rent from him again. I wish it had a hair dryer, that would be the only thing I would change.
