A cozy studio near the Place d'Italie
|
Neighborhood: The area around the Place d'Italie is typically Parisian. There are two particularly interesting local points of interest nearby. The first, the rue de Gobelins, is a street where King Louis XIV created the manufacturing of Royal Crown furniture in 1667. It is still producing very high quality tapestries. The second is avenue Choisy, which is one of the boundaries of Paris' Chinatown. A few metro stops away is the Seine River, the Place de Bastille, and the Quartier Latin. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and convenience shops in the area as well.
Premises: this apartment is located on a small quiet street. It is situated on the third floor of a relatively new building with an elevator. A security code and an intercom protect the main entrance.
The entrance door opens onto a little corridor which leads on the right to the bathroom and straight ahead to the living / sleeping room and its open-kitchen.
The living/sleeping room is decorated in a contemporary style. It is furnished with a trundle bed (two single size beds), a wooden chest of drawers, a cupboard containing a combo cable TV/VCR and its DVD player. There are also built-in closets. The french windows offer access to a small terrace that faces a courtyard. The terrace has a round bistro table and matching chairs.
The open-kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a small electric oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also a laundry machine.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet.
The entrance corridor has a large built-in closet.
High speed internet access and free local calls are available.
The nearest metro station is Place d'Italie (Line 5,6,7)
Heat and hot water are both individual and electric.
