Studio apartment in the heart of the Montorgueil Area

Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of the Second Arrondissement between Les Halles and Etienne Marcel, this studio apartment is in the the famous Montorgueil pedestrian area, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine, Notre Dame, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre. It is also near the Beaubourg-Pompidou Centre-Museum of Modern Art and the large underground mall of Les Halles.
Premises:
This 18m2 (approx. 190 sq. ft.) studio apartment with 2.70m-high ceilings is on the second floor (third floor in the USA) of an early 18th century building. It has an elevator starting from the first floor. The entrance is protected by a digicode and intercom. The apartment has a parquet floor and exposed ceiling beams.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a small entryway. There is access to the bathroom in the front and the 13m2 (approx. 135 sq. ft.) living space is on the right with the open kitchen.
The living space is furnished in a contemporary style with a wooden folding table, a 140cm-wide double sofa bed, a carpet, a cupboard with a mirror door, a phone, a wooden coffee table, two small armchairs, bookshelves, a Hi-Fi stereo with a CD player, a TV, a high-speed Internet connection (with Wi-Fi), a three-drawer chest and some lamps.
The tiled kitchen is equipped with a breakfast table and two chairs, a microwave oven with a grill, a refrigerator, two electric burners, a stainless steel sink, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. Utensils are stowed away in the cabinets.
The living room and the kitchen have a double-glaze window, each overlooking a small pedestrian street with a view of the facing building and a north exposure.
The white tiled bathroom contains a shower stall with a curtain, a white ceramic washbasin with a mirror, and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
The closest metro is Chatelet metro station (lines 1, 4, 7, 11) and RER (A, B, D) is also in walking distance and provides easy access to any part of Paris, the La Defense business district and to the two main airports, Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
