Parisian-style studio in the heart of Montorgueil area

Neighborhood:
Located a few meters from the pedestrian Montorgueil street and neighborhood, this apartment is part of one of the most colorful 'quartiers' of Paris; it offers a large number of quality food stores, open vegetable and fish stands and small specialty shops, as well as a wide range of restaurants appealing to every budget. It is also a few steps away from Les Halles, Paris' biggest shopping mall on four levels. Many Parisian points of interest such as the Centre Georges Pompidou (Beaubourg), the Seine with its famous islands - Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis -- the Louvre, and City Hall are in short walking distance.
Premises:
This 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate of the building, protected by a coded security system, opens into a paved courtyard. It is north exposed. The appeal of this apartment is the traditional tommette tiled floor and the exposed stone walls and ceiling beams.
The entrance door opens directly into the living room. To the left are the open kitchen and the bathroom.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) main room has two double-glazed windows with curtains. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed (140 wide), a dining table with chairs, shelves and a built-in closet. It is equipped with a stereo, a flat screen cable TV and a phone (restricted to incoming calls).
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar. It is equipped with a small refrigerator, two vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, a combo microwave/traditional oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle and a washer/dryer.
The bathroom has a washbasin with a mirror, a shower, a toilette and an electric towel-drying rack.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
The nearest metro stations are Sentier (line 3), Réaumur/Sébastopol (lines 3 and 4), and Les Halles (line 4 and RER A, B, D).
