Convenient studio apartment between Auteuil and St. Cloud
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is in the Village d'Auteuil, a traditional neighborhood in a very select district that provides choice fashion shops, fine restaurants and cafes, and other conveniences. It is a short metro ride from this accommodation to the Eiffel Tower and the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens; it is also a few steps away from the Seine. Opposite, beyond the river, is Trocadero Place and the Palais de Chaillot; it houses a number of museums and has an esplanade offering an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower.
All sorts of fashion and convenience shops, as well as select restaurants and cafes, are in the area. There is also an open market three times a week just a few steps from the apartment.
Premises:
This 16m˛ (approx. 170 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of a walk-up building with a concierge; it was constructed in the 1900s. The main entrance gate opens into a corridor leading to the staircase.
The apartment has a northwestern exposure and a parquet floor.
The 9m˛ (approx. 95 sq. ft.) main room has a window overlooking the street and a mirrored wall. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a square dining table with two folding chairs, a cable TV and a built-in closet with a sliding door.
The small but convenient open kitchen is equipped with a sink, two electric burners topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a washing machine.
The bathroom is accessible from the living room via a sliding door. It has a small washbasin, a shower and a toilette.
Please note that the toilet is electric. Due to the European plumbing system in the building, the water closet cannot handle any items other than human waste and toilet paper. All other objects no matter how small (i.e., Q-tips, paper, hair, etc.) will clog up the drainage system. This could result in damage to the WC.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
Wireless internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Exelmans (line 9) and Porte de Saint Cloud (line 9).
