One-bedroom apartment in Bastille area

Neighborhood:
Located on Rue des Tournelles between Rue Saint-Antoine and Rue de la Bastille, this furnished alcove studio apartment is next to the royal Place des Vosges, famous for the harmony of its architecture. It is also where the French novelist Victor Hugo lived from 1832 to 1848 (at number 6); it is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels (especially Les Misérables). Built under Henry IV, the singular Place des Vosges was first called Place Royale, it being the heart of an aristocratic Parisian district where the rebellious nobles flouted Richelieu's ban for duel fights. This furnished apartment is part of the special atmosphere enclosing the lively and historic Marais area with its substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, and trendy bars and restaurants. In walking distance from this accommodation are the Seine River with its two charming islands -- Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis -- and the Hotel de Ville (city hall).
There is also a number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets in the neighborhood, such as the one on Place d'Aligre, and another on Rue Richard Lenoir. All other services are easily found in the neighborhood.
Just steps away from this accommodation is Rue de la Roquette, which is mostly frequented by young people. The heart of this area is the historic Place de la Bastille, symbol of the French Republic. Built during the 14th century as a fortified royal residence, it remains the most famous monument in Paris. Inaugurated on the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution, the nearby new Opéra House is considered one of the best operas in the world.

This 43m² (approx. 462.85 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the eighth and top floor of a 20th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate has a coded security system and opens into a hall with a second gate and coded security system; this, in turn, leads to the staircase and elevator area.
The entrance door opens into a corridor that allows access to the living room, terrace, bedroom with a private bathroom, separate toilet, and open kitchen.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room is located under a glass roof and has some bay windows with western exposure overlooking the street and Parisian roofs. A bay window leads onto the terrace.
The living room is furnished with a 110cm/43.31'' size bed, a bar and its stools, a chest of drawers, a stereo, a television, a DVD player, a large mirrored closet, a desk and its chairs and some decorative items.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) terrace has a western exposure and overlooks the street and Parisian roofs. It is furnished with a dining table and its chairs.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a French window, which leads onto a small balcony with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard and Parisian roofs. This bedroom is furnished with a double size bed and its bedside tables, a desk and its chair and a large built in closet, where are a television, a DVD-player, a VCR and stereo.
This bedroom has its private opened bathroom, which has a small bathtub topped by a showerhead, a towel dryer and a washbasin.
The open kitchen has a window and is equipped with two induction plates, an oven a built in refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a washing machine.
There is also a separate toilette.
Heat and hot water are together.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Bastille (lines 1,5,8).
