Duplex studio apartment next to Montparnasse

This furnished studio apartment is situated in a small alley off Boulevard du Montparnasse between Rue du Montparnasse and Rue du Départ. The renowned Montparnasse district was frequented by great artists and writers like Picasso, Yves Klein, Matisse, Modigliani, and Hemingway in the 1920's and 1930's. It is also known as the theater district, with most of the theaters located on Rue de la Gaité, and is home to the tallest office building in Paris, the Tour Montparnasse, which offers a magnificent view of the capital. This neighborhood features many shops, restaurants, creperies, cafés, cinemas, supermarkets, and fashion outlets. Not far from this accommodation is the Hotel des Invalides, a complex of monuments that holds Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb and offers a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. This accommodation is also close to the Alliance Française, one of the largest French language schools in the world.
Premises:
This 36m² (approx. 388 sq. ft.) duplex studio is located on the third floor of a 20th-century building with an elevator. The main entrance gate, which has a coded security system, opens onto the staircase and the elevator.
The entrance door opens onto the main room, which allows access to the shower room, the bedroom area, and the kitchen via a set of stairs.
The main room has a parquet floor and two curtained windows overlooking a courtyard. Both windows illuminate the floor. The main room is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, an unfolding dining table with four chairs, an armchair, some shelves, and a few built-in closets. It is also equipped with a cable television, a DVD-player, and a stereo.
The bedroom area has a parquet floor covered with a wall-to-wall carpet, and a window. It is furnished with a large single-size bed and a built-in closet, and there is a dining table with two stools is right next to it. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped with a cooker hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, and a coffee-maker.
The tiled shower room is fitted with a washbasin, a shower, a washing machine, and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are electric and separate.
Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Montparnasse Bienvenue (line 4,6,12,13)
