A two bedroom apartment in Montmartre

Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is situated in the heart of Montmartre on Rue Lamarck, a street with a lot of diverse food shops, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very close to this accommodation is the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica and a few steps away is the Place des Abesses, one of Paris' most picturesque squares. Renowned artists like Berlioz and Picasso lived and worked in this district and their unconventional lifestyle is kept alive by a number of Montmartre residents today. There is a panoramic view of Paris from the Sacred Heart Basilica promenade, and the charming Place du Tertre is a must-see. Premises: This 90m² (approx.970 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 20th century building with an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a small hall with a second door protected by an intercom leading to the staircase. Upon entering the apartment, there is a hallway leading to the kitchen, the living room and the 1st bathroom on the right. On the left are both bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom. The 27 m² (approx. 290 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and is separated in 2 parts by a window in each part with a panoramic view of Paris. Both are accessible by double doors. The 1st part is the dining area with a dining table with chairs and a decorative fireplace. The 2nd part is the living area with a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table and a console with tableware. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with a fridge, a freezer, four gas plates, a microwave, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a toaster. Both bedrooms have a parquet floor and a double glazed window with curtains and a view on the street. The 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) first bedroom is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, two bedside tables, a desk, a stereo and a TV with a DVD player. The 13m² (approx. 140 sq. ft.) second bedroom is furnished with a double size bed and bedside tables with lamps. The first tiled bathroom has a window and is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, two washbasins with a mirror and a washing machine. The second bathroom has a window and is fitted with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. In front of this room there is a dressing room. The separate toilet is in between the 1st and the 2nd bathroom. Heat and hot water use gas and are individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Lamark-Caulaincourt (line 12).
