Studio apartment in Montparnasse
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished studio apartment is located on Avenue du Maine between Rue Jean Zay and Rue Vercingetorix. The lively and trendy Montparnasse district is famous for the highest local skyscraper showing a singular view over Paris, and for the large number of theaters, cinemas, international and select restaurants and nice cafes. Montparnasse was once the favorite neighborhood for artists, who used to be called the "Montparnos." The World Fair of 1889 and the artistic life already so rich in Montmartre had attracted many artists who then chose this popular district for its central location in Paris. Much of that atmosphere remains today.
Premises:
This 42m2 (approx 450 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the seventh floor of a 1983 building with elevator. The entrance gate protected by an intercom opens into a large hall, which leads to the elevator and staircase.
The entrance door opens into a hall, which leads to the main room and the open kitchen. To your left are a dressing and the bathroom.
The 30m2 (approx 320 sq ft) living room has two windows with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, a dining table and chairs, as well as a console surmounted by a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with four induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
A dressing area leads to the bathroom.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a heated towel rack and a toilet. There is also a washing machine and a dryer.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Gaîté (line13) and Montparnasse Bienvenue (lines 4.6.12.13).
