This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue Rambuteau between Rue Beaubourg and Rue des Archives, next to the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, an arts complex devoted to modern and contemporary art and design; it is a particularly colorful structure made of steel and glass with exposed pipes. The apartment is close to the Les Halles Mall and within a short walking distance to the Louvre and the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries. The Seine with its unique islands -- Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame) and the delightful Ile Saint Louis are close by too. In addition to a large selection French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, there are many convenience stores in this neighborhood.
Premises:
This 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the sixth floor (five in the USA) of a 19th century building with elevator.
The entrance gate protected by a security code system opens into a courtyard.
Then a second gate protected by another security code system that opens into a hall with staircase and elevator.
The entrance door opens into the main room and the open kitchen.
The 15m2 (approx 161 sq ft) main room has two windows with southern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a desk and a chair, a TV, some shelves and a closet.
The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates, a refrigerator, a kettle and chairs. There is also a small counter.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Rambuteau (line 11), Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11) and Hotel-de-Ville (lines 1 and 11).
