In an elegant building dating from 1890 - Large Studio overlooking the Sea - Cannes-Basse Californi

This studio of approximately 40 sqm is situated on the 3rd floor of a 19th Century building with elevator and intercom system. It has a balcony and a wonderful view over the sea and over the bay of Cannes. The residence has an automatic iron gate protected by a digicode. You have a reserved parking space just in front of the residence. The property sits on a hill and is located on the secondary road leading from Cannes to Golfe-Juan (N98). This area can be considered as the "Basse Californie" district of Cannes and is just on the edge of the city.
This accommodation is available either for weekly rentals during July & August or montly rentals throughout the year (2 months minimum).
You enter the studio through a small hallway. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed, an armchair, a lounge table, and a desk with two armchairs. There is a Murphy bed (double size) that can be hidden during the day. There is a TV. From this living area, two large French doors lead to the balcony.
The open-kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, an oven, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The marble bathroom and has a bathtub with shower and a sink with mirror. Water closet is separated. Bed & bath linens can be provided upon request.
There is a washing machine.
On the road down the hill is a bus stop. Two lines can get you either to the Nice-Cote d'Azur International Airport (express bus) or to the City Hall and La Croisette.
After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented : among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Hermès. Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera.
The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only four hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone : Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
