Studio with Mezzanine on a Garden Level - Walking distance from the heart of Aix

This one bedroom / one bathroom apartment with mezzanine is approximately 35 sqm and is located on the ground floor of a walk-up prewar mansion dating from the 18th Century, with a private garden. The house has been owned by the family for 6 generations ! You are not facing a street but an exceptional and unexpected yard. The building is just a stone's throw from the heart of Aix (50 meters !). All the shops, restaurants, groceries, cafés, schools and colleges are nearby.
The living room is furnished with a sofa bed (double size), two armchairs, and a dining table seating 4. There is a TV as well as a stereo, and a window that looks onto the garden. Wooden stairs lead to the mezzanine, which has a double size bed and a dresser.
The bathroom is standard : bathtub / shower, sink with mirror and water closet.
The separate kitchen is equipped with an oven, electric burners, a coffee maker and a toaster.
If you have a car, there is a paying parking lot (Parking Pasteur) one block from the property.
The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the cosmopolitan air of Aix en Provence and experience what is like to live independently as a true native. Everything is within reach.
We will not introduce you Aix en Provence that is already famous for its art and history. Aix en Provence has a wealthy historical and artistic heritage. The historic center hosts many private mansions and monuments. The surrounding country offers a beautiful and well-preserved countryside. Aix also has the most important courthouse in the region. Many festivals take place in the city throughout the year. It is located near the Marseille-Provence International Airport and the TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Milles station). It is only 20 minutes from the city of Marseille, 40 minutes from Toulon and the Cote d'Azur, and 60 minutes from Avignon.
