The apartment is located on the second French floor of a three floors building, rue Bedarrides. It can accommodate 2/4 adults .
The layout is as follows :
Entering the apartment you will find a spacious entrance hall (with large built-in closet) giving access to the bedroom and the bathroom to the right and to the open kitchen and living room straight ahead.
The living room is furnished with a two large sofas, a coffee table and an armchair. It is equipped with a TV (with foreign channels), DVD and a stereo.
There are two windows, opening onto the quiet street.
A phone line is available.
The open kitchen is equipped with 2 gas burners, two electric induction plates, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, a dishwasher and a washing machine. It has most necessary cooking utensils. There is a round dining table seating 6. There is a window opening onto the street.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and bed side tables, a large built-in closet, a rattan chair and a small table. There is a window opening onto the quiet courtyard. There is an A/C system
The bathroom is equipped with a double washbasin and a large tub (with Jacuzzi and hydro-massage). There is a separate WC.
There is a mezzanine with an double convertible sofa-bed.
A DSL internet access is available.
Neighborhood :
The best advantage of the apartment is its central location. You will enjoy the peaceful life of the lovely city of Aix en Provence. All kinds of shops and restaurant are in the immediate vicinity.
Aix en Provence in Bouches du Rhône district, is a very typical town with an historic center.
It is famous for it's landscapes (Cezanne) . The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'.
Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical and lyric) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps).
Access :
35 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon.
You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (25mn drive).
