Situated in the centre of Aix en Provence, this apartment is just a few blocks from the Cours Mirabeau, now listed historic monument and the famous Rotonde.
This 2 bedroom apartment is located on the 2nd walk-up French floor (3rd level) of a former private mansion ("Hotel Particulier") in the Mazarin Quarter. You access the building through a majestic entrance hall and staircase.
You enter the apartment through an entrance that distributes a spacious living room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, 4 armchairs, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, a desk, a decorative table and two wall bookshelves.
Part of the furniture dates from the 17th Century and there is a decorative fireplace.
There is a cupboard, a TV, a DVD player, a VCR and a stereo.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with 4 induction hobs, an oven, a microwave oven, a vent hood, a dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer. There is a round dinning table as well.
The first bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, two bedside tables, a desk, a sofa and a decorative fireplace.
The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, an armchair, a cupboard, a chest of drawers, two built-in closets, a TV and a decorative fireplace
The bathroom has bathtub with shower device, washbasin with mirror and water closet. There is a shelf and a heating towel rack.
This apartment located in a former private mansion of the 17th Century has a lot of personality and charm.
Neighborhood :
The best advantage of the apartment is its central location close to the city center (1 mn walkfrom the famous Cours Mirabeau:).
Aix en Provence in Bouches du Rhône district, is a very typical town with an historic center.
It is famous for it's landscapes (Cezanne). The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'.
Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps).
Access :
35 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon.
You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (15mn drive).
