One bedroom Apartment with terrace overlooking Nice (Partly A/C)
|
This one bedroom / one bathroom apartment of 56 sqm (plus 33 sqm of terrace) is located in a very residential area near the "Col de Villefranche", on a hill overlooking the city of Nice, the blue Mediterranean Sea and the Alps when the weather is mild. The apartment is in a postwar building (built in the 1960's) with an intercom system.
This accommodation is available for weekly or monthly rentals throughout the year. It is partly Air Conditioned (in the bedroom).
You enter the apartment through a hallway. The living room is about 20 sqm and is furnished with a sofa bed (double size), an armchair, a coffee table, and a round dining table seating 4. There is a TV with VCR and a stereo. From this living area, three large French doors open onto a terrace that overlooks the city and the sea. On the terrace, a round dining table can accommodate 4 people. There is an electric barbecue.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric burners, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator / freezer, a cofee maker, and a washing machine. A marble table can seat 3 people.
The bedroom is approximately as big as the living room and has a large French door opening on the terrace as well. It is furnished with a double size bed, and nightstands with table lamps. There is a satellite TV (with foreign channels) and a large built-in closet. There is also an air conditioning unit
The bathroom has a bathtub/shower, and a sink with mirror. Water closet is separated.
The apartment is located near the "Moyenne Corniche" that leads from Nice towards Villefranche Sur Mer and Monaco (and vice-versa). There is a bus stop a few steps from the apartment so you have regular shuttles for the center of Nice where are all the shops and restaurants. Parking spaces are available if needed. Near the apartment are a couple of stores such as groceries, bakeries and a hypermarket.
Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France ; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot : the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.
