Peaceful and Authentic 2 bedroom house facing the sea in Marseilles - Les Goudes.
|
Nestled at the bottom of the hills, facing the sea, this enchanting village house is located in "Les Goudes" - Marseilles 8th disctrict.
The layout is as follows:
Ground Floor :
You enter the house through the large living room furnished a large convertible sofa and a coffee table.
The dining area is furnished with a large rectangle table and a cupboard. There is a large fireplace. It has two large windows facing the port and the see.
There is a separate WC and small laundry room (with a washing machine).
The open kitchen is fully equipped: Electric oven, 4 electric burners, extractor, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker.
The kitchen gives access to a small terrace and a lovely garden nestled in the rocks of the hills.
A summer kitchen is available with BBQ, sink and pizza oven.
You will enjoy a small terrace, ideal for al fresco diners. Or take sun baths in the garden with a very private surrounding.
First Floor :
The wooden stairs lead to the second French floor with 2 double bedrooms.
The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a chest of drawers. It has a window facing the garden.
The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a small desk and a built-in closet it has a window facing the port and the sea.
There is another terrace facing the sea.
These rooms share a bathroom, equipped with a tub, a washbasin and a toilet.
A private parking space is available.
Neighborhood :
Les Goudes : Built against the Cape Croisette, at the southern end of the Marseilles littoral, the very typical village of "Les Goudes" is a small fishermen port. You will find many bars and restaurants nearby.
The house has a nice view onto the port and the sea but also the hills.
It is ideal to discover both Marseilles and the Calanques. At the nearest village of Callelongue you will find many paths departures to "Les calanques".
The calanques are deep narrow inlets, sort of Provencal fiords, in the rocky cliffs along the coast between Cassis and Marseilles. The calanques were formed by rivers flowing into the sea, submerged aeons ago by the rising level of the Mediterranean.
There is a direct access to Marseille city center by bus.
Marseilles is the third city in France (for the number of inhabitants) after Paris and Lyon.
It is famous for its large harbour but also the "Vieux Port" and la Canebière. Marseilles was founded 2600 years ago and after many years of crisis has become a very trendy place.
Close to Marseilles are "Les Calanques", Cassis (15km), Toulon (50km), and Aix en Provence (30km).
Access :
Motorways from and to Marseilles in all directions.
You can travel to Marseilles by TGV or fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (30km away).
