Lovely Studio with private Garden in the Old Town of Nice
|
This studio of approximately 30 square meters is located in the Old Town in a residence with guardian, and intercom system. The apartment has a private garden of about 30 sqm as well, with a palm tree. This accommodation can sleep 1 or 2 people and is available either for weekly rentals during the summer or for monthly rentals during off-peak season.
You enter the apartment through a large hallway that leads to the main room. This sitting room is furnished with a trundle-bed, a dining table seating 4 and two nightstands. There is also a TV. From the living room a large French window opens to the garden, where is a dining table.
The open plan kitchen has two electric burners, a microwave, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a washing machine. It is not suitable for ambitious cooking but is definitely convenient.
The bathroom has a washbasin with mirror as well as a bathtub / shower and toilet.
The apartment is located near the Place Garibaldi, in the northern part of the Old Town, just a stone's throw from the flowers and antique markets of the Cours Saleya. The Chateau Gardens and the Mediterranean Sea is also a few minutes walk away. The Old Town contains a treasure-trove of Baroque art from the 17th and 18th centuries. There are many churches among the narrow streets of this fascinating and timeless district of Nice. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and boutiques all around. It is a very lively quarter.
Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot: the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.
