Beautiful 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom with terrace overlooking Saint Jean Cap Ferrat & Villefranche sur M
|
This 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment of about 65 sqm is located in a very residential area overlooking the village of Villefranche sur Mer. There is a south exposed terrace overlooking the sea. This accommodation is on the 4th and last floor (i.e. 3rd French floor) of a postwar building (built in the 1970's) equipped with an intercom system and an elevator. The apartment is available for weekly or monthly and would accommodate 4 people.
The living room is about 30 sqm and is furnished with 3 armchairs, an armoire with a stereo with CD player, and a lounge table. From this living area, a large French door opens to the terrace, which overlooks the sea.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric burners, oven, refrigerator / freezer, electric water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine. A large pass-thru opens to the living room. There are 2 high-stools to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the counter.
The master bedroom is south exposed and has a French window opening to the terrace as well, overlooking the village of Villefranche and the sea. There is a double size bed, and a built-closet.
The full bathroom has a bathtub shower, and two washbasins. Toilet is separate, in the second bathroom that has a stall shower.
The second bedroom has west exposure. It has two twin beds.
The apartment is situated 15 minutes walk from the old and picturesque village of Villefranche - way down, as it is up on the hill, for the way back it should be 20-25 minutes...); by car only 3-5 minutes. It is remarkably peaceful and quiet. The apartment has 2 parking spaces, in the street down the building.
The historical village of Villefranche Sur Mer overlooks the harbor and the Villefranche Bay, considered one of the most beautiful on the Riviera. Nice, 15 minutes drive away, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France: among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot: the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. The Nice train station is served by the TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five and a half hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 20-25 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 30 minutes away from the apartment.
