Ideally located 2 bedroom Apartment in Cannes
|
This 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment situated on the 2nd French floor of a building with elevator is located Rue Latour Maubourg, between Rue d'Antibes and Boulevard de la Croisette.
This accommodation is available for weekly and monthly rentals throughout the year and sleeps 4 to 5 people. The apartment faces west and the street.
The living room has 2 windows, one opening onto the street, the other one opening onto a small terrace. It is furnished with a double size convertible sofa bed and equipped with a TV, a VCR and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with a stove, 4 electric burners, a refrigerator / freezer, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is an eating counter
The first bedroom has a double size bed and a built-in closet. There is a French window that opens oton a balcony overlooking the street.
The second bedroom has two single beds and an extra foldable bed. There is a window opening onto the same terrace as the one you access to from the living room.
The bathroom has a washbasin and a bathtub. There is a separate toilet.
The apartment is wonderfully located, right in the center of Cannes (Next to the famous Hotel MARTINEZ). La Croisette is 1 mn walk and Le Palais des festival is less than 10 minutes walk away.
Of course, restaurants, cafés, and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera.
After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented : among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel - or Hermès.
The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
