Located in the centre of town, in the heart of the fashionable Massena Pedestrian area on Jean Medecin, this one bedroom apartment is located on the first French floor of a pre-war building. The apartment has an excellent location for those wanting to discover Nice but also for those wanting to conduct business during your stay the apartment has a telephone (for incoming) fax, printer and scanner .There is also a DSL internet access. The living room is furnished with a dining table, a cupboard and a double convertible sofa bed. There is a TV, a DVD player and a stereo. There is a window opening onto the street. The open kitchen is equipped with 4 vitro-ceramic hotplates, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a washing machine, coffee percolator and electric kettle. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed a double wardrobe with mirror and a chest of drawers. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a shower and a toilet. Neighbourhood : The apartment is close to the famous Place Massena on avenue Jean Medecin Close to beach, gardens, all main shops and within 5 min walking distance of the old town. It is close to many of the museums and an easy walk to the Acropolis Convention centre. The Nice "chic" shopping area, restaurants ,cafés, bars and clubs and casinos are all within a short walking distance, as well as the 'old town' and the famous 'Cours Salaya' typical market place just five minutes walk. Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot: the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.
