Peaceful and bright 2 bedroom duplex with terrace facing the port in Marseilles
|
This enchanting duplex is located in the center of Marseilles, 1st district.
The layout is as follows :
The apartment is located on the 5th and 6th (and last) floor with elevator.
Lower :
You enter the apartment by a private elevator (it opens directly into the property).
It has direct access to the open entrance and to the living room which is furnished with a convertible sofa, 2 armchairs, a day-bed, a coffee table, a fireplace, 6 shelves, 3 desks and a cupboard.
In the dining area there is a round dining table with 5 chairs. The room is very bright thanks to its 5 French windows that give access to a long circular balcony with a panoramic views.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped : electric oven, 4 induction hobs, American standard fridge, dishwasher, vent hood, microwave oven and coffee maker. It has a small table with 2 chairs and a French window leading to the balcony.
There is a separate WC and a laundry.
The first bedroom is bright and furnished with a queen sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a desk and has a closet. It has a private bathroom with a stall shower and a washbasin. There is a window opening onto a private courtyard.
A staircase leads to the mezzanine and the second French floor.
Upper floor :
The mezzanine has a closet and a dressing. It leads to a spacious terrace with many trees and plants which give an impression of privacy and a "feeling of nature" although this is a city apartment. It is furnished with a table and 6 chairs, a barbecue and 2 chairs.
The second bedroom has access to this terrace and to another small one.
It is furnished with a queen sized electric bed, a bedside table, a closet.
It has a separate WC.
There is a bathroom area furnished with a large bath, a washbasin, a heating towel rack and a mirror.
Neighborhood :
The apartment offers nice views onto Marseilles and part of the Vieux Port (Canebiere side).
The apartment is located in the most central part of Marseille. Everything is within reach (Cafes, restaurants, shops). There is a quick access to the subway and to Marseille St Charles Train Station.
You will get to the Vieux Port in about 2 mn walk.
Although in the heart of Marseille the area is quiet. It is ideal to discover Marseilles.
Marseilles is the third city in France (for the number of inhabitants) after Paris and Lyon.
It is famous for its large harbour but also the "Vieux Port" and la Canebière. Marseilles was founded 2600 years ago and after many years of crisis has become a very trendy place.
Close to Marseilles are "Les Calanques", Cassis (15km), Toulon (50km), and Aix en Provence (30km).
Access :
Motorways from and to Marseilles in all directions.
Train : Gare Saint Charles with the high speed TGV giving access to and from Paris in 3hours ½ but also Nice, Cannes and the Alps is about 3 hours or through Marseilles Provence Airport (30km away).
